Our Impact

Since 2022, Coats4Kids has grown from a single Rotary club project to a nationally scaled charity operating across three nations. Here is what we have delivered, what schools say, and where we go next.

Help us on our mission to a MILLION

We have delivered over 11,500 coats to date — and with national partnerships growing, our ambition is firmly in sight.

Every child deserves the warmth and comfort of a winter coat

Year-By-Year Growth

Season Coats Delivered Vouchers Issued
2022-23 1,089 1,201
2023-24 3,395  3,757
2024-25 3,372 4,503
2025-26 (in progress) 3,478+ 4,640+

Timing makes a real difference. The data shows a 90% redemption rate in seasons where we can start dispatching vouchers in September — giving families the full winter window. Donations received before September have the greatest immediate impact. If you are considering supporting Coats4Kids, funding confirmed by the end of summer means a child is warm from the first cold morning of term.

“Having new coats gave the children an increased level of confidence and allowed them to feel more comfortable around their friends. This in turn impacted on the speed they settled into class and their readiness for learning.”

Pupil Services Officer, Somers Heath Primary School

“This type of support helps reduce barriers to learning before the school day has even begun. It removes a practical worry for the child, which in turn helps the school day run more smoothly for them.”

Deputy Safeguarding Lead and Family Support Manager, St Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy
