Every child deserves the warmth and comfort of a winter coat

The Education Case
This is not just a welfare issue. It is an educational one. When a child is cold, they cannot settle, concentrate, or participate. Schools across the UK already know this — 94% of primary schools are already providing informal clothing support, funded by teachers out of their own pockets (NFER, 2024). Coats4Kids formalises that response in a way that is efficient, dignified, and scalable.
Corporate support for Coats4Kids is not charity. It is investment in educational outcomes, school community wellbeing, and a practical response to a systemic problem that government has not yet solved.
What Your Support Delivers
The national infrastructure is already built. Coats4Kids currently distributes around 4,000 coats each year. With the right corporate partners, the programme could support tens of thousands of children each winter. We are looking for partners who want to be part of that scale — not just make a donation.
We offer six levels of partnership — from community-level support through to national programme leadership:
| Partnership Tier | What Is Means |
|---|---|
| ★ Principal Partner | A visible national leadership role in the expansion of Coats4Kids. As a Principal Partner, your organisation will be directly associated with taking the programme to tens of thousands of children each winter. Bespoke terms. Board-level reporting. Named in all national communications. |
| Regional Partnership | Support schools and communities within a specific region, local authority area, or area of local focus. Ideal for businesses with a strong regional footprint or community investment strategy. Full impact reporting for the funded area. |
| Employee Engagement | Staff act as programme ambassadors, introduce local schools, help schools understand the voucher system, and take part in outdoor challenges and activity campaigns aligned with your brand. Meaningful, measurable, and motivating for teams. |
| Brand & Communications | Authentic impact stories, school engagement, and programme milestones to support ESG reporting, internal communications, PR, and social media. Real stories. Real children. Real outcomes. |
