Request Support For Your School

Coats4Kids works with primary schools across England, Scotland and Wales to provide brand-new winter coats to children who need them – free of charge, discreetly, and at no cost to families. Complete the form below to request support. Our allocations committee reviews all requests and will be in touch within 10 working days.

Before you submit a request

Please read the following guidance carefully.

1. Requests must reflect confirmed need

We ask schools to carry out a simple internal review and identify the pupils who currently do not have a suitable winter coat at all.
Your request should be based on the exact number of children you have identified, not an estimate or a general level of need.

2. We cannot supply coats for school stock

Coats4Kids is unable to provide:

spare coats for schools to hold in stock
coats for forgotten-uniform situations
coats for outdoor learning or Forest Schools
coats for children who already have one but may need a replacement later

Our support can only be offered where a child has no winter coat of their own.

3. Parents choose the coat using a voucher

If your request is approved, we will send you digital vouchers, one per identified child in need.
Parents or carers use these vouchers to select the correct size and style from our online shop.
Coats are delivered directly to the home.
We do not require any child’s name or personal details at any stage.
